Masaharu made several sets of woodblock-printed flower pictures in the mid-1900s. This gallery includes examples from both sets. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Pictures 1-11 are from one set and picture 12 is from a second set of fifty prints entitled Kōzan Shokubutsu Zufu (i.e., Picture Album of Alpine Plants), published in 1931-32. To see more pictures from the latter set click here. Masaharu drew flowers in a true-to-life way which was standard for Japanese art at that time.
